Honestly, I feel like you all are missing a pretty important component; understanding for the differences in experiences of others. Just because you experienced something one way, just because it ended badly for you, doesn't mean it's automatically reasonable for you to hate the community that took you in when you thought that you were also experiencing the same thing as everyone else. This applies to really any belief. I honestly don't know what's been going down in the shadows or in private or whatever, as this is the only forum I have access to anymore, either due to deletion of the others or just not knowing their names. And even if it is escapism for some people, what, do you feel good taking away peoples' happiness in their personal experiences? The only time I, in my shorter time here, have seen issue is when some users acted like they were above others, having more abilities and knowing more, and so everyone else was expected to understand and conform to their understanding of events and possibilities. Other than that, which isn't even related to Digimon themselves, I don't see any issue with a personal belief that doesn't affect others outside of if you participated by your own will and now are lashing out for some reason.

We should recognize that different people have different beliefs. Just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean someone else shouldn't. And just because a belief is uncommon doesn't mean it's bad or wrong.
I don't claim to know for absolute certain that Digimon exist, but I do believe in them. I consider the topic of real Digimon to be a serious and valid area of paranormal research. The more I have researched this topic the more I have become convinced that there is something to it. For example there have been Digimon sightings and I have heard about things that sound Digimon-related in sources that aren't Digimon believer sites. Also, Digimon as a franchise has rather murky origins in which not much is known about the person credited with creating it. Isn't that kind of strange?

mannnn things are heating up in the Digimon Force team... for something that is "dead" it is more alive than my grandmother The previous last post in this thread was two years ago, it's definitely dead, dead enough anyway. Maybe the site should be deleted but I think it will stay up and remain a curiosity to those who find it. I can't help but check in once or twice a year our of curiosity myself.
