How did you first meet your partner?

Well, he's not exactly my partner yet, but I met Alfie through yato . He pretty much provides a link to him, since I'm unable to communicate with him yet. I'm what you would call "blind" in terms of metaphysical stuff, so I depend on Yato a lot for updates and conversations and stuff.

Alfie is a Raffimon, and isn't canon in the series, but he's a Lucemon subspecies. He's like a small child with a plain black outfit, black hair, small black wings and green markings.

There's also Luna, who is a Jafframon. She's not canon in the series either, and I also met her through Yato, however she and I aren't that close yet, but I hope to change that soon.

As far as I know, these are the only two actual compatible partners I have, but I haven't actually bonded to them for personal reasons.

I met mine when he was introduced to me by someone else, as several other people were helping me search for a compatible partner. He disliked the area he'd been living in, and wasn't aware that there were other places he could have gone to, so needless to say he now stays with me.

Met my partners through dreams. Over time, when I began developing my psychic senses, my dreams on Digimon dwindled but I can telepathically talk to them and see them pretty fuzzily using my astral senses.

I met Sekki in a series of dreams I had years and years ago.

Long story short, I was playing a card game, and winning, then there was a bright light and someone asking me to make a choice about having a digimon partner, and I chose.

After that there was another dream involving a close friend and the city being evacuated, I was running with this friend by the train tracks and this same bright light happened again with the same being handing me a card of a SaberLeomon (Sekki's mega).

Later I dreamed I was with my sister and we had been chasing this weird core light thing that had been appearing around the house on and off. I was sure it was something relating to my partner, and I had the same card from the previous dream with me at the time. Then I remember seeing Rika but she had lost Renamon somehow and gave me her digivice at some point. Then I remember finally finding the light core thing in my bedroom, and placing Rika's digivice in it and it glowing and becoming mine so I scanned the card I had.

I dreamed about my partner multiple times after that, watching him, talking to him, adventuring with him, seeing him grow and evolve.

When I finally met Sekki in person, he came to me by way of a crystal necklace he had been given as a child which he was told would lead him to what his heart desired most. When he found me, he was in his rookie form, a male Renamon with black and orange gloves with a short katana. He insisted we bond immediately, and soon after that I obtained my blue/silver d-arc.

It wasn't long before he digivolved into his champion form, a Leomon with twin swords when we got attacked by some weird creature one night. Now he spends a lot of his time in his champion form.
