I remember at some point, I was obsessed with looking for forums to join, and among my searches, I found a thread that was making fun of a site called DRP. Curious, I decided to join in and see what was happening. Little did I know, that that one curious action would lead me to a huge group or neRDS I now call my second family.

I went on a dumb tirade of googling "are digimon real" and making posts (on my fan fiction dot net account's profile page) about how they were real because the nintendo DS had a microphone so maybe they could hear you in the digimon DS games.

I recall that I was looking for something to bring some wonder into my life (And was planning on trolling some people) when I found one of these sites, and recognized that this was what my dreams were leading me towards!

Well almost the beginning anyway. I'm a young god.
Long story short though I always loved digimon so one day I got this crazy idea to Google the idea of real ones and then I found this old site called DAR and that lead me to DFT and years later I'M STILL HERE.
I guess that means at least someone out there still believes in me lol

Nearly 12 years ago I made a huge mistake and thought to myself how cool it would be if Digimon were real, used google and have never been able to escape this realm. No matter how many times I tried to leave, it just keeps me tethered to it.

I can't be as honest as I want to be without giving away private information, but I've been here since the beginning, since long before DAR and DRP, pretty much as far back as the Pojo thread. I stumbled upon it by accident actually but I already had a group of friends who believed in it. It's been so long now but I think that was in worker 2000 or 2001? Maybe? Anyway, Google brought most of us here so thank you Google, but also f*** you Google lol.
OH, ACTUALLY, YAHOO SEARCH! AND ummm, altavista! Those were the search engines I used at the time haha, and sometimes AOL search, oh man I'm feeling nostalgic now.
Edit: OH AND, The Digimon chaotic destiny rpg was like he first site I was on that had a section just for believers, I really feel like that's where it properly started even though there were a few tiny groups around before that.

Many years ago I googled Digimon are real and came across a gaming website that had topics that were supposed to be about a Digimon game but ended up about the digital world and Digimon being real. Of course by the time I arrived all the topics were locked but I was intrigued that I wasn't the only one. Unfortunately shortly after that I got in trouble and was banned from the computer for a long while but I never forget about those threads. A few years later when I could use the internet again and got around to it I once again Googled Digimon are real and came across The DFT and a few other Beliver sites. And the rest is history.

I first found about the community in 2007 when I searched for the phrase "digital world" on Ask.com and found the Digimon Portal site. I didn't quite believe in Digimon at first but started looking more and more into it. I became a believer pretty quickly and have been ever since. I also remember old believer sites like the Real Digmon Believers MSN group (I think that was the name).
