I've noticed some people on this site have said that they believe in multiple universes, myself included. But to what extent do you believe in it? Do you believe that these universes are just random? Like a universe where people live underwater, or were animals are people and we are pets? Maybe to an extent where tv shows, movies, and books could actually have some universe of their own that we somehow create and it takes on a life of its own? Or maybe universes that exist and we can capture, like the Digimon series? There are many possibilities and I would be interested to hear some of your points of view.

The multiverse.
Every single possibility no matter how unlikely has happened. Every single decision (both conscious and unconscious) and out come stretching back to the moment of creation has been made. Every time you make a decision you create hundreds of new multiverse. One for each possible outcome.
When you "make up" a story you are actually just becoming aware of events that have happened or are happening in the multiverse.
In the original universe from which all others sprout the moment of creation has never happened and each time it does it only happens in a new multiverse.
Some multiverse are in the future compared to ours as they had their moments of creation before ours did.
That's what I believe when it comes to the multiverse.
