I know you guys and girls really don't know me here, but I'm not one for bullshitting or exaggerating. In fact, I'm pretty damn cynical all things considered. Most of my experiences as a believer have happened while lucid dreaming or, I hope, actually Astral Traveling. Now, they don't always chalk up to much but they add up over time. Today I had my first waking experience, I think, and it has me kind of shook.
So I rent out the bottom flat of a giant house. The house is two stories and has four different units in it. It's a huge building that reaches a crown in the middle. I live on the corner of an intersection in the middle of town. There is only an empty lot behind my place, no other houses in viewing distance. That should set the sight enough for you.
I was walking back home from a trip to the grocery store down the block, lugging my bag along. I was walking by myself, not really paying attention to anything, when I turned the corner and saw my house just across the street. As I raise my head up I see, clear as fucking day, a small furry white creature with a long blue tail and yellow paws sitting on the pointed peak of the roof. I was half a block away but I clearly saw it raise it's right paw in almost a wave before turning in a circle and completely vanishing. It looked like a small Gatomon.
I was pretty stunned but that wasn't even the craziest part. After the Gatomon, or whatever it was, was gone .. the whole event immediately left my mind. I was almost in a fog. I walked inside, unloaded my groceries, sat down to work on a project and maybe half of an hour later the memory flooded into me as clear as day. The same way memories of my lucid dreams sometimes come back to me in the middle of the day. Now I'm hear writing and I'm pretty shook up. It was vivid. It was there. It was real. I'm not sure if it was actually a Gatomon. Cynically, I suppose it could have been anything. But it looked like it.
I believe that when it waved its paw and turned I was left in a bit of a fugue state and only time let me pop out of it. I don't know. I'm interested to see if anyone else has had this kind of experience.
