Hey, ancient member here. I'm not giving my name due to fear of backlash, but I just wanted to pop in to say that I am, in fact, plural. The "partner", who was "found and matched to me" was found out to be just a headmate of mine. In fact, I believed I had two partners, but it was just him pretending to be the other one, assumedly because I didn't know what he actually was. What I'm hoping for you all to do is reevaluate yourselves. If you have "partners", talk to them. Ask if they are headmates or alters (I don't like that term.) because you could actually have a system inside your head. If you need them, here are some resources on being plural. morethanone.info/pluralityresource.org/plurality-information/pluralpedia.org/w/Main_Page

Now I actually still believe Digimon are real, because I believe in alternate realities. There's a whole spiritual belief online called reality shifting. And I found a method that was successful for me, but I then got a dream telling me to stop because I was breaking the space-time continuum.

Considering partner Digimon exist outside the body and have their own lives apart from their partners, it does not make sense to paint them all in the brush of existing as systemmates, those who share the same body as you. Yes, some systems project their systemmates alongside them as a visualization tactic to speak with them as if they were outside the body, but it does not mean that they actually are; meanwhile, Digimon can be out and about doing their own things, in this plane, rather than something like a soulbond where they exist in their world and our mind, which would make them closer to systemmates. I know this is how it was for you, and I certainly agree that there were individuals who often talked about Digimon-like beings sharing their lives and taking over their bodies that would certainly be closer to plural, but I seriously don't think this applies to everyone. You're generalizing quite a bit.

I agree with Garnet's reply.
Additionally, many partner Digimon are capable of projecting themselves into our headspace through the partner bond. It likely depends on how developed the bond is and how close you are to them.

Resources are good. Might help someone; just not everyone. Communities are varied that way.
It's a shame you've decided to delete whatever you said, because I don't think it's a bad thing even if we disagree on whether most Digimon partnerships are systems or not, but I respect your decision.
