I ain't very knowledgeable on the topic of Tulpas, but I saw this thread while scrolling through this forum, but I don't think I've ever heard of anybody using tulpamancy to communicate to their partners. I do know of people creating Digimon tulpas from tulpamancy, though. I've personally never done it before, and I don't know many people who have.

I don't really see how that would be the case, to be honest. The modernized view of tulpas separated from their origins is basically an imaginary friend formed and created with the purpose of eventually becoming autonomous, yes? As Digimon already exist in their world physically and in ours and likely others metaphysically, tulpamancy seems to have little to do with them, unless you mean that some create Digimon companions for themselves to call partners rather than having partners that are the otherworldly kind of Digimon.

Digimon don't exist physically. They don't have one world they all collectively live in. They live on the astral plane. What people would consider "The Digital World" was destroyed long ago. Digimon now live wherever they want to. They're just spirits living on the astral plane, and the idea that they all collectively live in their own physical Digital World is, as of right now, wrong. Digimon are just a type of spirit that humans can bond to and merge with and stuff like that.

And how do those of you who believe and spread this know it?

We don't really spread knowledge, we just kinda figure things out as a group of friends. Other than that, there isn't some group that is made for spreading knowledge.

I'm sure you could create a tulpa to help facilitate the bond between you and your current partner(s). But a Digimon tulpa is a tulpa, regardless of its appearance. I do not think that a tulpa can bond with a human in the same way a Digimon can. In many ways they're too fundamentally different.

I dissagree . Digimon are spirit beings and tuplamancy is used to train the mind to connect with a spirit. So i see it as a way to better connect with your digimon friends.
