I can tell you right now that it’s not as black and white as you think it is. Everybody absolutely has free will and is free to leave. People do all the time. But it’s more complicated than you think. But I’m done with this discussion. If you think it’s a cult, I have no good reasons to change your mind, or anybody elses. DFT was made for people to theorize and have fun, not discuss whether the inner workings of the outside of this forum is run by a cult Well it stopped being that along time ago. Explain how it’s not as black and white as it seems, because that’s what people who are in denial about being in a cult say about their cult. I’ll even make you a deal. You give 5 reasons it’s not a cult and I’ll take back everything I said about it being a cult. And please try to not accidentally comment more cult behaviour like you’ve been doing so far. |

To say the least, I'm a little disappointed in the direction of this thread.
My introduction has become a cult-blaming game. Fortunately I'm not new to the scene, but I could only imagine how invalidating this could've been for me if this was my first time here. Older members should be encouraging newer members to use their own discretion, welcoming them rather than telling them to leave outright for their beliefs. Warnings are always appreciated, but I personally feel that this isn't the thread to be having this conversation in.
