What do digimon eat?
How to look after them and care for them?
How do I make sure my partner is safe in the digital world?
When do digimon come to earth or when will they?
Thanks

Note that these answers are from personal experience and include my own opinions. I advise you to also think for yourself and not take what others say as absolute fact, just as an alternate point of view.
The Digimon I have known do not eat in the way that the creatures of this world do. Some see them as spirits, but I see them as digital beings, and those I have interacted with behave as such. The "eating" I have seen happen is less eating and more the intake of data to increase their own power, which involves defeating other Digimon and absorbing them similar to what is seen in the Tamers season. My partners behave fairly differently in this regard; Dorumon is a frequent hunter of other Digimon in order to become more powerful and protect his territory, but Patamon isn't very fond of battle and would prefer to play with others compared to absorbing them. As such, she is not as strong when it comes to battle. It would not surprise me if some indeed devour "food" such as fruits or fish in the Digital World as a physical interpretation of data intake, but I'm not sure if it's comparable to eating in this world in the sense that nutrients are absorbed and expelled. I know that Digimon poop in V-Pets and some of the other early series based on them, but none I have met have displayed signs of doing so, nor have they expressed being hungry or starving to death.
As it sounds, they don't require much "care" from me. I'm there to provide energy that allows them to evolve quickly versus having to slowly gather up the necessary amount of data to retain higher level forms. They defend me in return, though nowadays there is little that threatens us or that we need to defend ourselves from. My home and presence are also there as a place to come back to, like a safe home base. However, my partners and I are not as attached to the hip as some other pairs (Dorumon more than Patamon; the former's pretty aggressive and untrusting, preferring to spend time alone unless we need to band together for safety, but the latter sometimes likes to sit with me and watch things with me, or chat as we're resting together).
Keeping them safe and making sure of their status is something I am not particularly well-versed in, as our connection is sometimes shaky and doesn't effectively send messages, especially nowadays. I feel our bond (our expression of it is like a string reaching from my chest to them), and if there is danger, I may pick up their emotions or feel more drained as they (primarily Dorumon) use my energy to protect themselves in battle. For us, the closer they are, the more strongly I can pick up their emotions and messages to me; others who are more adept at communication may be more sure in the messages they receive from their partners even at interdimensional distances. However, as mine have been faring alright, I don't know anything about how it would feel for the bond when one side of the partnership dies.
I do not think Digimon will materialize in this world. It is currently not realistic; how would their data or metaphysical selves magically obtain matter in order to create physical bodies for themselves? It would not be as easy as in the show, where that process just happens upon crossing over. Matter cannot be created. While some metaphysical occurrences have had some kind of effect on this world in some cases (not ones I have personally experienced), becoming actually physical and obeying the laws of this world's physics is a different matter. There have been some times in the past where groups take advantage of peoples' hope and desire for Digimon to physically exist to gather everyone together like a cult, but I advise you, again, to make sure you think about what people are telling you and not blindly believe it. Don't let your desire for Digimon to physically exist make you want to do anything that could make it possible, or give your trust to people who could want to manipulate you.
That's all I have to say, but I hope it was decently interesting to read, at least.

Will that strengthen the bond? And how can i get to the digital world if I astral project? I'm sorry for all the questions, I'm just new to all of this
